Santorini Taverna in Eden Prairie has a live Salsa band called Salsa Del Soul twice a month, and many advanced Salsa dancers show up for these dances.

Santorini management has agreed to let me use the dance floor from 6:30 to 8:00 to teach a beginning Salsa lesson for our group.

So, here is the plan.
** Get there by 6:15 and get settled in.
** Beginning level Salsa/Latin dance lesson from 6:30 to 8:00
** Rest, eat, and drink 8:00 to about 8:30. Santorini has a full bar and excellent Greek/American food.
** At about 8:30 Salsa Del Soul will start playing. We can watch the advanced dancers, or dance with others in the class. For those of us who want to, we can dance with the advanced dancers too.
** Depending on your schedule on Monday, you can leave anytime. I will probably leave around 9:30.

As always, we will be rotating partners frequently, during the lesson part, to make sure that
** Nobody is without a partner for long
** You get to dance with most everybody of opposite gender in the group
** It would nice if couples and partnered people start/end with their partners but change partners for the rest of the time.

Cost for the class is only $10/person. (Please bring cash; exact change is preferable.)
** People taking the class don't have to pay the $5 cover Santorini charges for the dance.
** I am working with Santorini management to get some bar tabs/gift certificates. Anybody who is in the class will be included in the drawings for these gift certificates.

For those who don't want to be part of the class can come around 8:30 for the dance and pay $5 cover charge directly to Santorini. But you will not be included in the drawings.

Either way, we hope to see you there!
