Beginning level Salsa/Latin dance class, with field trip to a Salsa Club later

A number of people told me that they want to continue learning Salsa/Latin dancing on Thursdays in December,
even if they are busy with the holidays,
to not gain weight despite holiday foods,
and to continue the Salsa dancing fun we had in November.

So, we will continue with various Latin/Salsa dances, learning a different dance from the beginning each week.

The dance for 12/1/11 will be Cumbia style Salsa.

We will plan a field trip to a Salsa/Latin nightclub as a group after the series of 4 classes.

The classes will be 4 Thursdays
12/1/11, 12/8/11, 12/15/11, and 12/22/11.

We will be meeting at Shift Fitness and Massage, 1304 University Ave NE #302, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
** This studio is above the Erte Restaurant at the corner of 13th and University in NE Minneapolis, and the entrance is on University Avenue around the corner from Erte and Peacock Lounge.
** Plenty of free parking on street
** Additional parking at the parking lot across the street from Peacock Lounge

Lesson from 7:15 to 9:00,
Practice time 9:00 to 9:15

We will plan the date/time/place for the field trip in the class.

This class is designed for singles. So, we will be rotating partners frequently to make sure that nobody is without a partner for long. You get to meet and dance with mosteverybody of opposite gender in the group.

Couples and partnered people are more than encouraged to join us.They can start/end with their partners,but change partners in-between.

We will cover a variety of Salsa/Latin dances in this class,starting from beginning steps,to make sure you can dance all night long when you go dancing.

The cost for the lesson is $15/person/class.
But you can save $10 by paying $50 on 12/1/11 to cover all 4 lessons.
Please bring cash (exact change please) or checks, no credit cards.
